Overview
As you venture in becoming a DOT Qualified Collector for Urine, Oral Fluid, Breath Alcohol Technician, Train the Trainer or any other service agent position, it is Required and imperative that you stay in the know by subscribing to the ODAPC List Serve.
Who is ODAPC?
The Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance advises the Secretary of Transportation on National and International drug testing and control issues and is also the principal advisor to the Secretary of Transpiration on rules related to the drug and alcohol testing of safety sensitive transportation employees. These agencies include Aviation, Trucking, Railroads, Mass Transit, Pipelines and other transportation industries.
ODAPC also publishes regulations and provides offial interpretations on drug and alcohol testing, to include how to conduct testing and the evaluation and treatment procedures necessary for returning employees to duty after drug and alcohol testing violations. ODAPC also coordinated the Department of Transportation involvement with the President's National Drug Control Strategy Annually.

DOT Agency/USCG Drug & Alcohol Program Manager Information
The Omnibus Transportation Act of 1991 established the following DOT Agencies and their drug and alcohol testing regulations.
